Artist Statement
“Love sharing my artist journey with you.”
This is my gift that God has given me. As a child, I would not speak much. I let color, composition and value speak for me - for it does a much better job than I could ever do with words. When an image captures me - I let it take hold so that I can study more letting me hear their story. If it lets me-I will paint what I was given in that moment. For painting is very spiritual. I get to study all the time the gifts that God has given to each of us every day. The gift of sunshine, water, plants, people, shade, clouds, birds and butterflies. Lakes, fish, dew, a fresh day every day! The gifts are there to enjoy and this is such a joyful adventure for me - painting the spirt and have others enjoy what I see.
