What a fun painting involving graphics and impressionism! This bouquet of flowers was my Mother’s Day gift from my daughter of this year 2022. I just loved them and wanted to paint these florals in a way that I want to paint them. It is quite different from my “style” starting with a black canvas and finishing with beautiful graphics of dots using the opposite of colors on the two different planes. Hopefully I will be known for my palette knives as my tool of choice. Look forward to more amazing painting like this. FYI- the flowers came boxed and I arranged them myself using one of my favorite green vases.
PS This is entered into a national juried show- so excited- hope it gets in - will know by the end of January 2023.
