The Sea - n Me

This is a life size 3-D sculpture. I am so much a part of the sea that when I am away from it- I feel like a fish out of water. I decided to make this piece to see me always next to the ocean. I’ve use seashells, wood (to remind me of driftwood), starfish, plastic seaweed, goggles, fish under my skirt, whales and seashore images on the box that she sits on, sandpaper for sand etc. This is who I am, and I love who I am. Of course, she is reading Moby Dick!
